My Journey
Movement has always been a central part of my life. I started with dance at a young age, finding joy and purpose in expressing myself through movement. As I got older, I became more involved in dance professionally, teaching and performing, but eventually, I began to feel disconnected from my true self. Anxiety took over, and I struggled to find peace.
That's when yoga came into my life. Sounds cliché, I know, but it’s true! What began as a physical practice quickly became much more— it was a way to heal. Yoga helped me navigate the challenges I faced and brought me the emotional balance and clarity I was searching for. It gave me the space to reconnect with myself when I felt lost and the tools to reclaim self-love. Yoga showed me a path to healing that I hadn’t found elsewhere.
Why I Teach
After years of practicing yoga on my own, I decided to pursue teacher training. My first 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa course in Rishikesh was life-changing, and I followed it with a 300-hour training shortly after. Those experiences plus the many more hours of training and integration work have deepened my practice and solidified my desire to teach.
Now, yoga is at the core of everything I do. It’s not just about movement anymore but it’s a way of living authentically, creating balance, and reconnecting with myself. I’m more grounded, mentally stable, confident and open than I’ve ever been, and I’m honored to help others experience the same transformation.
