Asana/Movement: Shoulder Mobility
Breath: Interrupted Exhale
Meditation: Choose Forgiveness
Journal Prompt
Think about a time when you found it hard to forgive someone (even yourself). Describe the situation and your initial feelings. Reflect on what holding onto this grudge has cost you emotionally and mentally.
What steps can you take to begin the process of forgiveness, and how might your life improve by letting go of this burden?
Creating Habits: Set Clear Intentions
Setting clear intentions is like drawing a map for your journey — it defines where you want to go and what you want to achieve. When you know exactly why you're doing something, it becomes much easier to stay focused and motivated, especially when you encounter obstacles. Clear intentions help you align your actions with your goals, and they make every effort more purposeful and effective.
Example
let’s imagine you decide to start a fitness routine. Instead of just saying "I want to get in shape," set a specific intention like "I want to run a 5K in three months." This clear goal gives you a concrete target to work towards and helps you plan your training sessions accordingly. Each workout has a purpose which keeps you motivated and on track. By knowing exactly what you're working towards, each step in your routine gains significance which will eventually get you to your goal.
